1. Hamlet (October 27-29)

The Barnard Department of Theatre presents Jose Rivera’s story of a young woman living in the Bronx who experiences the consequences of a war in heaven as angels revolt against God.
3. Sweeney Todd (October 31 and November 4)
The Crown and Scepter Theater Company, a brand new theater group, presents Stephen Sondheim’s bloody tale about the demon barber of Fleet Street and his quest for revenge. Facebook event
4. Alice in Wonderland (November 10-12)
While KCST might not have cast Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter (his agent never called back), no one can resist this classic story of Alice’s journey down the rabbit hole.
5. The Recognition of Sakuntala (November 11-12)
The Columbia University Players presents a translation of a Hindu myth about a king and the ascetic girl he falls in love with.
6. Side Show (November 30 and December 2)
The Columbia Musical Theatre Society presents a musical based on the lives and stage careers of Siamese twins Daisy and Violet Hilton.
7. Ubu The King (December 8-10)
Right before the holidays, be sure to catch the Barnard Department of Theatre’s presentation of Alfred Jarry’s 1896 Absurdist interpretation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth right before the holidays.
8. XMAS! 6 (December 12)
Take a study break the night before Reading Week begins to enjoy this student-written musical about the holiday season.
